The Fantasy Continues at the AC Hilton!
FANTASY CONCERT SERIES IS EXTENDED AFTER WELL RECEIVED INITIAL LAUNCH IN MARCH 2008
Atlantic City, NJ – April 21, 2008 – The Atlantic City Hilton Casino will keep rockin’ Saturday nights with its Fantasy Concert series featuring tribute artists of legendary performers. The concerts, which are co-presented with the The Shark 103.7 FM, will feature new acts and will perform on Saturdays, May 3, 10, 24 and 31, 2008. All concerts begin at 9 p.m. in the Hilton Theater. Tickets are just $10 and are available at the door.
Draw the Line, the Aerosmith tribute band, kicks the new Fantasy Concert Series off on May 3. Even Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's iconic frontman, has called Draw the Line the best Aerosmith tribute band. In fact, Draw the Line was featured on Aerosmith's official website – the only tribute band to receive that honor. Neill Byrnes, the lead singer of Draw the Line, won a Steven Tyler lookalike contest, but the resemblance doesn't end there. Draw the Line delivers spot-on Aerosmith sound and stage presence – much to their audience's delight. The Boston-based Draw the Line is made up of Neill Byrnes, Donnie Noyes, Justin Hunt, Steven Drew and Chris Pereto.
On May 10, Satisfaction takes the stage to deliver a tribute to the Rolling Stones, "the world's greatest rock and roll band." No other tribute band can do justice to the nearly half-century of hits that the Rolling Stones have compiled. Since 2001, Satisfaction wowed 1,200 audiences all over. In 2005, they joined the legendary tribute show Legends in Concert, becoming the first-ever Rolling Stones show to hit the famed Las Vegas Strip. The band was particularly honored to be a part of promoting the Martin Scorsese documentary about the Rolling Stones called"Shine a Light." Satisfaction is made up of Chris LeGrand, Jim Riddick, Charlie Trador, Carl Bass and Tony Fortuna.
Get ready for some Bad Medicine - the Bon Jovi tribute band plays the Hilton on May 24. Bad Medicine is widely recognized as the number one Bon Jovi tribute band anywhere. They've been touring since 2001 and their travels have taken them all across the country – and even to Panama. From large theme parks and theaters to intimate clubs, Bad Medicine has played countless shows – all paying tribute to New Jersey's famed rockers. Steve Sage, the lead singer of Bad Medicine, bears a remarkable resemblance to Jon Bon Jovi helping to cement the tribute band's number one status. Perhaps the ultimate honors have come from Jon Bon Jovi himself: Bad Medicine has been hired by Jon Bon Jovi's Philly Soul Organization as well as being hired for Bon Jovi fan events.
On May 31, Almost Queen brings its tribute to Queen to the Hilton. Joseph Russo, Tom Cavanagh, Randy Gregg and John Cappadona make up Almost Queen and from the moment they first played together, it was clear: there was a synergy they described as magical, and they realized that they had something special. Soon they would be performing in New York City's most celebrated venues, from B.B. King's to the Hard Rock Café. In addition to looking and sounding exactly like Queen, the band puts on a show that delivers the complete "Queen experience" – from dramatic lighting to elaborate costumes.
Draw the Line will perform Saturday, May 3; Satisfaction will perform Saturday, May 10; Bad Medicine will perform on Saturday, May 24; and Almost Queen will perform on Saturday, May 31. Doors open at 8:30 pm. All concerts begin at 9 p.m. in the Hilton Theater. Listeners of The Shark 103.7 FM (via radio or on line) can win FREE V.I.P. PASSES.
