“Price is Right” Contestant Search highlights Resorts Casino Hotel promotions in August

Atlantic City, NJ – July 27, 2010 – Resorts Casino Hotel announced that it will offer visitors to Atlantic City a chance to be a contestant on The Price is Right on Thursday August 26. Two people who attend the contestant search are guaranteed to be chosen to go to Los Angeles to be in the studio audience. One person is guaranteed to be a contestant on the show. Those interested in participating can visit the Resorts Ballroom from 2pm to 6pm on August 26.

In addition to the Price is Right contestant search, members of the Resorts Casino club will have a chance to win one of 100 Dell Laptop computers by activating their Resorts card on Saturday and Sundays in August. One winner will be selected every 30 minutes from 5pm-11pm on Saturdays and every 30 minutes from 1pm-7pm on Sundays. Players can activate their Resorts card by playing their favorite table game or slot machine with their card inserted into a card reader at any time on the date of the promotion. Winners will be randomly selected.

On Tuesday, August 17, all Resorts card holders will earn 3X comp dollars on their casino play. And, on Monday, August 23, Resorts will select one Resorts Card Holder to win $500 cash every 30 minutes from Noon to 6pm.

To be eligible for all promotions and sweepstakes, players must be at least 21 years of age and be members of the Resorts Casino Club. Casino players can sign up for their free Resorts card at the promotions center located in the casino. Winners will have 10 minutes to claim their prize.
