Resorts Atlantic City –

WELCOME TO RESORTS ATLANTIC CITY
Resorts Atlantic City has set the standard for casino gaming and entertainment since opening as the East Coast's first casino on May 26, 1978. Throughout the past 30 years, Resorts has become synonymous with superior service, world-class casino gambling, luxurious accommodations, fine dining, and the biggest and brightest stars in entertainment.

Today, Resorts Atlantic City is situated on 11 acres of land with approximately 310 feet of Boardwalk frontage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Resorts offers guests 942 hotel rooms and suites in two hotel towers: the oceanfront 15-story Ocean Tower, and the magnificent showpiece, the new $125 million, 27-story luxury Rendezvous Tower.

The 99,951-square foot casino at Resorts Atlantic City features non-stop excitement and action 24 hours a day at more than 80 table games and more than 2,500 slot machines.

In addition to the casino and hotel facilities, Resorts includes a 1,350-seat showroom, a 300-seat theater, six restaurants, two VIP slot and table player lounges, an indoor-outdoor swimming pool, two lounges, a salon, a health club and spa and retail shops. Resorts also offers approximately 39,000 square feet of convention facilities, including seven meeting rooms and a 13,000 square foot ballroom.

Resorts Atlantic City is located at the northern end of the famed Boardwalk in Atlantic City, along with eight other of Atlantic City's 12 casinos. Neighboring Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and Showboat Hotel and Casino are connected to Resorts via enclosed pedestrian bridges, making it easy for guests to walk from property to property without going outdoors. These three properties have a total of approximately 3,900 hotel rooms, approximately 339,000 square feet of gaming space, and account for almost 30 percent or 8.7 million of the visitors to Atlantic City. Six additional Atlantic City casino hotels are located approximately .5 mile to 1.5 miles to the south on the boardwalk, with the remaining three in the Marina District of Atlantic City.

HOTEL
The Rendezvous Tower at Resorts
Along with forever changing the skyline of Atlantic City, the new Rendezvous Tower at Resorts has redefined the entire Resorts experience. The 27-story luxury Rendezvous Tower (positioned on the site of the former nine-story Atlantic Tower) consists of 388 hotel rooms, plus 58 suites, retail space and gaming space. The Rendezvous Tower at Resorts, which opened to great fanfare on July 2, 2004, boasts the largest standard rooms (more than 500 square feet in size) in Atlantic City, an elegant and spacious hotel lobby, and an additional 26,043 square feet of casino gaming space.

The new luxury hotel tower expanded on Resorts' existing décor, a style that embraces the elegance, class and sophistication of Atlantic City's heritage. The designers worked to capture and intensify the bold elegance of the art deco era both on the interior and exterior styling. The exterior features brilliant lighting from golden art deco torchieres that create a glowing extension of the Atlantic City skyline and can be seen as visitors first enter the area. As guests arrive, they enter a grand porte-cochere entrance leading to a Grand Lobby which will connects both towers in early 2006. Two large hand-painted murals, designed by EverGreene Painting Studios, Inc., are a focal point of the new 4,371 square foot Grand Lobby, as is a central dome and meeting place.

The luxurious Rendezvous Tower at Resorts offers lavish guest rooms and suites in a sophisticated atmosphere - but with all the comfort and amenities guests have come to expect from Resorts. Guest rooms range in size from 512 to 576 square feet, making them the largest rooms in Atlantic City by almost 100 square feet. The 58 suites range in size from 1,090 - 1,150 square feet and are situated on the top six floors offering spectacular panoramic ocean views. All guest rooms feature oversized bathrooms accented with imported marble, walk-in showers for two (should guests choose), double vanities, make-up tables, and additional amenities.

OceanTower
Aptly named for its seashore decor and close proximity to the beach and Boardwalk, The Ocean Tower has been a favorite of Resorts' guests since the property opened as Atlantic City's first casino in 1978. The 480-room Ocean Tower offers expansive breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, beach, the world-famous Boardwalk, and the back bays of the Atlantic City region.

The Ocean Tower features 139 mini-suites, 21 Jacuzzi suites, 15 parlor suites, and one Presidential suite. Non-smoking and special needs rooms are available upon request. In 1999, Resorts celebrated the completion a $50 million renovation of the Ocean Tower which included a renovation of the guest rooms, and two new Boardwalk restaurants.

Guests staying in the Ocean Tower have convenient access to Resorts' health spa and fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, sun deck, the Dining level, the casino, gift shops, the Boardwalk, beach and ocean. The Ocean Tower is also home to the intimate entertainment venue, the Screening Room, and to Resorts' exclusive clubs for qualified casino players, Club 1133 and the Double Down Lounge.

CASINO
With the completion of the new luxury Rendezvous Tower at Resorts, Resorts also added 26,043 square feet of additional gaming space for a total of 99,951 square feet of thrilling, 24-hour casino action. Resorts offers more than 2,500 slot machines including multi-coin video games, video poker, and classic reel machines, which all feature EZ Cash, an easy ticket-in/ticket-out way to play. Resorts also offers premium players a semi-private gaming experience in the Platinum Place, where they can try their luck at their favorite machines ranging from $2 to $100.

Resorts also features 80 table games, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy Texas Hold 'em Poker, Texas Hold ‘em Bonus, Two Card Joker Poker, Blackjack, Double Attack Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Mini Baccarat, Craps, Spanish 21, Big Six, Three Card Poker, Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Boston 5, and Pai Gow Poker manned by the most experienced and friendliest dealers in town. Resorts also features the comforts and exclusivity of two high-limit table game areas for those who enjoy higher stakes and a separate poker room located on the casino floor featuring six tables.

Resorts hosts regular Tuesday and Thursday night poker tournaments in the poker room with a $60 buy-in and $15 entry fee. Resorts has also added a Ladies only Texas Hold ‘em Tournament every third Monday of the Month with a $40 buy-in and a $10 entry fee.

A non-smoking slot room is separated from the casino floor, located in the Boardwalk Lobby. This slot area includes reel, progressive and video machines ranging in denomination from $.01 to $1.

That changed in 1933 with the legalization of the sale of liquor, Gallagher's brought a new dimension to American cuisine: Broadway's first steakhouse and where the "New York Strip" steak was first served. It’s time to get your groove on! Boogie Nights is a nonstop dance party dedicated to bringing back the music, styles and pop culture of the 70s and 80s. Guests are treated to all of their favorite disco, pop and dance hits spun by a live DJ. Whether the theme is the 70s or 80s, Boogie Nights guests are transported to another place in time. Lava lamps, funky furniture, disco mannequins and other memorabilia are on display. The entire staff is dressed as 70's and 80's characters, from the DJ, to the bartenders, to the sexy Roller Girls zipping around on roller skates. A video wall displaying music videos and visual imagery from each era sets the mood and invites customers to hit the dance floor underneath the shimmering disco ball. The authenticity of the surroundings, coupled with the visual imagery and live music, makes Boogie Nights a true retro dance party.

Complementing the trip back in time is the specialty drink menu, which features creative cocktails with inspired names. From the "Miami Vice" to the "Donny Almond" to the "Jack Tripper," the drink names make fun references to famous icons of the 70s and 80s. Guests will also enjoy contests with chances to win prizes. The idea is to give players, as well as the general public, something different – and affordable – to do during their visit.

A LOOK BACK
Resorts Atlantic City proudly holds a place in Atlantic City history as the first casino to open on the East Coast. At 10 a.m. on May 26, 1978, legendary entertainer Steve Lawrence, flanked by New Jersey Governor Brendan Byrne and a host of dignitaries, threw the dice to officially declare Resorts International open for business. The doors opened and thousands of people entered the property to participate in one of most celebrated events in New Jersey's history.

In the 1970s, a group of American businessmen spent $11 million to renovate Chalfonte-Haddon Hall, preparing the storied property for the arrival of legalized gambling. Established in 1929, Chalfonte-Haddon Hall has been a vital part of not only New Jersey history, but nationally as well. During World War II, Haddon Hall was transformed into the Thomas England General Hospital. The property's wide corridors made it easy to facilitate the transport of medical equipment and supplies. Following the war, Chalfonte-Haddon Hall re-opened in August 1946 as a convention site and summer retreat.

Resorts originally consisted of two hotel towers, the Ocean Tower and the Atlantic Tower. In September 2002, the 166-room Atlantic Tower was demolished making way for the new Rendezvous Tower construction.

In May 2003, Resorts Atlantic City celebrated its 25th Anniversary in grand style, highlighted by a performance by comedian Jerry Seinfeld in the Superstar Theater. Unquestionably the hottest ticket in town, the line of people waiting to purchase tickets was reminiscent of the lines of people waiting to place their bets 25 years earlier.

Recent expansion projects including the Rendezvous Tower at Resorts in July 2004, 25 Hours in July 2005, and Gallagher’s Steakhouse in 2006 continue to redefine the Resorts experience.
