Tunica Resorts, MS - December 22, 2008 - Resorts and Bally’s Tunica are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Regional General Manager and Regional Assistant General Manager.

In her new role as Regional General Manager, Cindy Borkowski will oversee the day-to-day operations at both properties. Originally from New Jersey, Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) and has more than 19 years of gaming experience.


She began her career as an Internal Auditor at the Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. She has experience working in all aspects of Finance at several gaming markets including New Jersey, Illinois, Mississippi, Indiana, and Florida. Cindy worked for Caesars Entertainment in Tunica before joining the Resorts International team in 2007 as the Regional CFO and has held that position until this promotion.

Jerry Artigliere will oversee the day-to-day operations at Bally’s in his new role as Regional Assistant General Manager. Also a native of New Jersey, Jerry holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA and has over 29 years of gaming experience.


He began his career as a Slot Attendant at Caesars in Atlantic City and continued to work in the New Jersey area with Golden Nugget and Bally’s Grand. In 1993 he moved to Mississippi as the Vice President of Slot Operations and played an integral role in opening Bally’s Mhoon Landing; he stayed with Bally’s until 2000. Jerry worked for the Grand Casino Tunica in the same role until 2007 before joining the Resorts International team as the Regional Vice President of Gaming Operations.  He will continue to retain regional gaming oversight for both properties in addition to his new responsibilities.
